MaxiSYS Ultra S2 is Autel's flagship product with advanced diagnostics support for all vehicle brands. The new product brings AI support and advanced software and HW with USB-C connector. It offers the most features, the most advanced software and support for the latest vehicles. Autel MaxiSYS Ultra S2 handles complete diagnostics of all control units of most European, Asian and American cars, combined with advanced service functions. The instrument can read and clear fault codes for all units, display live data and perform active tests, as well as read readiness code, reset service intervals, diagnose and regenerate DPF, perform basic throttle adjustments, reset automatic transmission adjustments, perform basic TPMS diagnostics, register and code the battery, perform injector coding, key and remote control coding and many other tasks. Unit flash, coding, including online coding and adaptation are also supported. Unlocking hidden vehicle functions and unit topology (mapping) is also included.

The 5-in-1 diagnostic adapter includes vehicle connectivity features like J2534 Passthru, 4-channel oscilloscope, wavelength generator, multimeter and CAN-BUS. The VCI not only functions as an adapter for the diagnostic tool, but also offers the functions of a four-channel oscilloscope, wavelength generator, multimeter and CAN bus tester.

• More advanced than the J2534: With three diagnostic protocols (D-PDU/SAE J2534/RP1210), the Ultra S2 can work with more OEM diagnostic tools, diagnose and program more vehicles than the J2534 programming tools.
• VCI communication: two Wi-Fi modes, one is for connecting the tablet to the VCI, the other allows the tablet to connect to the internet for software and browser updates. Higher transmission speed, more stable and better anti-interference capability (equivalent to USB communication), communication range reaches 50m and diagnostic speed is 30% faster.
• Precision oscilloscope: built-in oscilloscope with a wide frequency band of 20 MHz and a baud rate of up to 80 MS/s provides accurate signal sensing and covers an extremely wide range of vehicles. 32M memory for complex signals and allowing waveform amplification and playback, supporting advanced edge triggering and pulse triggers.
• Waveform generator: generate electrical signals and analyze vehicle hardware performance by varying the frequencies of different waveforms. Autel MaxiSys Ultra S2 has a large number of cloud-based preset cases, including wiring diagram of various sensors and actuators in the vehicle, waveform reference, waveform analysis, error code analysis, smart one-click waveform setup, etc.

Advanced Coding and Programming

With MaxiSYS Ultra S2 it is possible to perform all the diagnostic procedures that until now only authorized service stations were able to perform like coding and programming.

• Coding - also known as teach-in program, component program or simply the unit coding, is used to reprogram adaptive data for vehicle control modules after repairs or replacements of vehicle parts.
• Programming - downloads the latest version of software from the online server database through Internet access (this procedure is done automatically when the tablet is connected to the Internet, so there is no need to check for software updates yourself), and reprograms the newest version into the vehicle's ECU.
