The iCarsoft V2.0 and V3.0 series devices allow relatively easy updating via a Windows PC. Below is the procedure so that you won't be surprised.
How to upload updates to iCarsoft V2.0 and V3.0
1. Download the iCarsoft_MSDIAG_PCClientKits program here: https://icarsoft.us/Uploads/download/iCarsoft_MSDIAG_PCClientKits.zip. If the link doesn't work, go directly to https://www.icarsoft.us and find the program for your device in the Support section.
2. Unzip the file, run the installation package and complete the installation.
3. Run the program. In some cases, you may need to un-click the security warning.
4. Connect the device to your computer using the included USB cable.
5. The serial number will be read automatically. Press the Upgrade button.
6. In the next step, enter the email and the UID code, which will be displayed on the device display.
7. Confirm OK and the program window will open. Select the appropriate language and software and press Download.
Note: In case of multiple languages or software versions, the memory card may become full. You can use any compatible memory card with a higher capacity or format the card and upload only the items you need (we recommend backing up the card before formatting).
