The Owon HDS272 is a portable two-channel oscilloscope that can also be used as a multimeter. The instrument has a high contrast colour display suitable for outdoor use and is powered by a pair of 18650 batteries that last up to 6 hours of continuous operation. You can connect the oscilloscope to a computer via USB-C and use it with Owon software. The device can be controlled with the SCPI, or charged with a power bank. The HDS200XXX series features a larger screen and larger internal memory.

Signals can be easily recorded and stored in the internal memory, which is capable of storing up to 8,000 data points. Waveforms can also be saved as images or CSV files and easily exported via USB to a computer.

In addition to its oscilloscope mode, this instrument also functions as a full-featured multimeter with 20,000 True-RMS counters. It has the ability to measure voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, continuity and diodes. Measured values are shown on the display in a large format, allowing for easy reading and recognition. Like conventional multimeters, it is also equipped with an automatic ranging function.
