The security gateway (SGW or SFD by VAG vehicles) is an important safety feature in modern vehicles. It serves as a protective measure against unauthorised access to vehicle networks and the systems they contain. When the SGW module is not unblocked, many different diagnostic functions may not work, such as service functions, active tests, coding or even the access to different modules may be restricted.
The SGW Pack enables unlocking of the security gateway for the following brands:
- FCA (Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Maserati) - 1 year of unlimited access
- Mercedes - 1 year of unlimited access
- Nissan - 1 year of unlimited access
- Renault - max 40 tokens / max 1 year
- VAG (Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW) - 1 year of unlimited access
