Stardiag SGW Bypass

Bridging or bypass allows full communication with Iveco Daily vehicles manufactured after 2018, using any compatible diagnostics.

Certain Iveco models manufactured after the end of 2018 are equipped with the Security Gateway module, which allows full communication with the vehicle only when using the original diagnostics available at authorized service centers. Other diagnostic devices cannot bypass this protection and are only able to receive data from the control unit (for example, reading error codes is possible, erasing is not). The solution is to bridge the SGW module.

Security Gateway

The functionality of the SGW module was designed to prevent unauthorized access to the car's control modules (hacking), overriding it limits this functionality. This is an important interference with the security integrity of the vehicle and use of this device is therefore at your own risk. It may also lead to the loss of the vehicle's legal warranty. The SGW Bypass is a device primarily used to enable connection to any diagnostics, we strongly recommend reassembly of the SGW module after diagnostic work has been completed.
